Your Breath can be a SUPERPOWER

Showing gratitude can make you more optimistic. Studies show that those who express gratitude regularly appear to have a more positive outlook on life.

Gratitude Practice

Go around the dinner table and have each person state something general they are thankful for, and something specific to that day that they are thankful for.

Do you agree that we humans have an exceptionally subtle ability to control and think about our own breathing? Have you ever been conscious of your breathing?

Take 5 intentional deep inhales and exhales through the nose. As you breathe deep through your belly, experience a regenerative feeling such as gratitude or appreciation for a loved one or something in your life. We all realize that without breath there is no life in the body. Breath is the force that keeps us alive. Breath can be noticed like when you are running you are out of breath or on a cold winter day you can see your breath. Breath is subtle but you can notice it.

Our breath is accessible and innate to us all. Through breathing techniques everything is unified and works better in harmony, it facilitates the incredible feeling of responding versus reacting to an actual situation. When we practice breathwork, this responsive behaviour comes automatically. The result of breathwork practice is intense self-awareness that guides us how to respond and also when not to respond. Breathwork makes you more productive and enables a deep sense of connection with the self.

Breathing techniques are regularly recommended for relaxation, stress management, control of psychophysiological states, and to improve organ function. Yogic breathing, defined as a manipulation of breath movement, has been shown to positively affect immune function, autonomic nervous system imbalances, and psychological or stress-related disorders.

Did you know that we can expel 90{1e16acf445973e61fdbd53de1c132af7e84fd195cf15d57956db2b0426c8fa60} of the toxins from our body by breathing correctly? We can learn the art of breathing right by observing new born babies. Have you seen their stomach gently rising and falling as they breathe in and breathe out? Breath is our vital source of energy. The key to healthy and happy living lies in breathing properly. When we attend to our breath, it can heal us from all worries and anxieties. Here are some benefits of breathing techniques:
