This led her to question why they weren’t making progress or holding onto their goals. Often, individuals are unconsciously manifesting throughout their lives without realizing it. The key is to transition from an unconscious process to a conscious one, which empowers you to actively pursue and achieve the things you genuinely desire. Instead of merely setting goals for the present, manifesting encourages envisioning your future self in 20 years as a guide. By considering the person you want to become, decisions made today must align with the long-term vision. For instance, if someone is seeking a meaningful relationship, they must evaluate decisions based on whether it brings them closer or holds them back from finding a partner; such as reading a book at home vs attending a friend’s party (where the probability of meeting a partner is greater). This approach helps in making choices that propel you towards the goal. Manifesting isn’t a one-size-fits-all practice; there are various methods that people can employ. However, the common thread lies in consciously realigning your thoughts, decisions, and actions with your desires.

Alicia has developed a unique methodology, explained with the acronym DESTINY, to guide our manifesting practice:

  3. Saboteurs: Identify and overcome internal and external blocks.
  4. Thanks (Gratitude): Cultivate gratitude for what you have and what you’re striving for.
  5. Inspired Action: Take daily actions aligned with your desires.
  6. Navigate The Path: Be intentional in navigating your journey.
  7. Your Cues: Pay attention to signs and signals from the universe.

In the journey of manifesting your desires, a structured approach can significantly enhance your success. This acronym DESTINY, also encapsulates the steps involved in this transformative process:

  1. Define Your Outcome: The first step in manifesting is to have a crystal-clear vision of your desired outcome. This involves delving deep into your aspirations and understanding precisely what you wish to manifest. Whether it’s a career goal, improved health, or personal growth, defining your destiny is the starting point.
  2. Energize Your Alignment: Once your outcome is defined, it’s crucial to align your energy with that vision. Immerse yourself in the energy of already having achieved your desire. Uncover and address any internal saboteurs or blocks that may hinder your progress. This step involves cultivating a mindset that resonates with the reality you seek to create.
  3. Show Gratitude: Gratitude is a potent force in the manifestation process. Expressing gratitude for what you already have and for the desired outcome as if it’s already present helps anchor your intentions. Embrace the power of gratitude to shift your focus from scarcity to abundance.
  4. Take Inspired Action: Manifesting is not just about visualization; it requires tangible action. Identify three inspired actions you can take daily that align with your desired outcome. These actions need not be monumental; small, consistent steps propel you towards your goals. Micro-actions, like mindful dietary choices or simple exercises, can lead to significant transformations.
  5. Ignore Distractions: Staying focused on your path is paramount in achieving your goals. Avoid being swayed by lesser goals that might divert your attention. In the context of weight loss, resist temptations that counteract your objectives.
  6. Notice Signs and Signals: The universe communicates through signs and signals. Pay close attention to synchronicities, subtle cues, or unexpected opportunities that come your way. These are guideposts pointing you in the right direction. Cultivating awareness of these signs aids in navigating your journey with purpose.
  7. Yield to 100% Commitment: A key principle in manifestation is the power of 100% commitment. Unlike 95%, which allows room for negotiation, 100% commitment leaves no room for doubt. Make decisions aligned with your goals without compromise. Whether it’s dietary choices or other lifestyle commitments, unwavering dedication simplifies the decision-making process and strengthens your resolve.

In the manifestation journey, timeframes vary depending on the nature of your desires. Some manifestations unfold quickly, while others may take time. Ultimately, DESTINY serves as a roadmap, guiding you through the intricacies of manifesting your dreams into reality.

Understanding Saboteurs in Manifesting

Saboteurs come in two forms—internal and external. Internal saboteurs manifest as limiting beliefs or negative self-talk, hindering personal growth. External saboteurs can be friends or family who resist your positive changes.

  • Overcoming Internal Saboteurs: The Power of Awareness

Becoming aware of this internal dialogue is pivotal for change. Alicia emphasizes the importance of separating this voice from your true self, changing the dialogue, and appreciating the role of limiting beliefs in keeping you safe.

  • External Saboteurs: Choosing Supportive Relationships

External saboteurs project their discomfort onto your transformative journey. Choosing supportive relationships, mentors, and like-minded individuals helps maintain a positive energetic environment conducive to manifesting.

Recognizing and addressing both internal and external saboteurs is vital for unlocking our full potential. Saboteurs extend beyond relationships to encompass our physical spaces. A cluttered or messy environment can harbor stuck energy, impacting our mindset and manifesting efforts. Clutter and hoarding can trap negative energy while clean and open spaces foster positivity. Simple habits, like making the bed every morning can significantly impact our mental outlook.

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

Imposter syndrome, originally labelled in the 70s as a challenge faced predominantly by women, is a pervasive limiting belief centered on feelings of inadequacy and the fear of being exposed as a fraud. To overcome this internal struggle,

  1. The first step is acknowledging and recognizing the existence of this critical/negative voice within, realizing that it’s a script from the past and not a reflection of one’s true capabilities.
  2. Elevate Self-Confidence by appreciating achievements. Express gratitude towards this voice for its intent to protect, followed by consciously changing its narrative. Shifting from self-doubt to affirmations of competence, such as “I can handle this” and “I have control over this,” empowers us to dismantle the grip of imposter syndrome.

Overcoming imposter syndrome requires courageous action, defined not by the absence of fear but by the ability to move forward despite it. 2 amazing tips in this regard are:

  • Emphasize on tuning into intuition. Individuals know themselves best, filter out external noise and trust personal instincts.
  • Focus on the next right step, avoid overwhelm, analysis paralysis, or perfectionism. By concentrating on the immediate, manageable task, we can make steady progress.
